Samana Khan, M.Ed, CCO - Content

Samana is a certified educator with 15+ years of experience working in the Islamic school sector as a teacher, administrator and academic advisor for grades K - 12. 

 

In 2010, Samana took her passion for working with Islamic schools and joined IQRA’ International Educational Foundation to oversee Islamic school initiatives at a national level.  For almost a decade, Samana facilitated programs related to Islamic studies curriculum development, national assessments, and instructional design. 

 

She has also authored and edited several classroom texts used globally in schools today and delivers professional development workshops and seminars for teachers and administrators privately, as well as, publically at ISNA’s Annual Educational Forum.   

 

In her spare time, Samana works as a program coordinator for the Muslim Women’s Alliance, a non-profit philanthropic group designed to provide community service, public awareness, and professional development to communities in need.   In addition, after completing Hajj in 2012, Samana uses her personal Hajj experience as well as knowledge of Islamic studies instructional design to deliver dozens of Hajj and Umrah seminars to help people prepare for their glorious journey. 

 

Lastly, but most importantly Samana is also a devoted wife and mother of three.
